Ganesh Chaturthi also known as Vinayak Charturthi as Lord Ganesha has many name and Vinayak is one of them. Ganesh Chaturthi is a very relegious festival of hindus. This festival is celebrating as an arrival of Lord Ganesha on Earth from kailash Parvat with his Mother Goddess Parvati/Gauri. All the Hindus and others as well celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi Festival with full of joy by having Dhol, Tasha, Dance, Colors, and Spectacular sculpture of Lord Ganesha in their home/Society.
Ganesh Chaturthi is of 11 days festival celebrated with full of joy it comes just after Teez Pooja (Hindu fasting festival to women. The Hindu festival of Teej is marked by fasting of women who pray to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, seeking their blessings for marital bliss. It is a series of festivals that occur during the Hindu month of Shravana (Sawan) and Bhadrapada (Bhado), which corresponds to the Indian monsoon season of July, August, and September. )
Ganesh Chaturthi 2020 is something different then all other years due to this Pendamic situation, Government of India decided to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with guidelines, rules and restrictions to fight with Corona virus and ensure Social Distancing. As we Indian never fails to celebrate our festivals doesn't matter in which situation we are, in which place we are and what we are, when it comes to celebration we fully celebrate our festival as we know how to be happy and how to make others happy in any situation.

Different days of Immersion/Visrajan of Lord Ganesha Idol:
1.5 Day: This is the shortest time span in which some people do Immersion of lord Ganesha sculpture as per their capability and availability. mostly working people who installed Lord Ganesha in their home do immersion on this days.
3rd Day: Next immersion happen on 3rd day of installation of Lord Ganesha. Same working people who installed Lord Ganesha in their home do immersion on this days.
5th Day: Next immersion happens on 5th day of installation of Lord Ganesha, on this day some Mandals and personals do immersion of Bappa.
7th Day: Next immersion happens on 7th day of installation of Lord Ganesha which is also known as Gauri Ganapati Visarjan, on this equal of Mandals and personals do immersion of Bappa. Mostly all the working people who installed Lord Ganesha in their home do immersion by this day except some.
9th Day: Next immersion happens on 9th day of installation of Lord Ganesha, on this day mostly Mandals to immersion.
11th Day: And last but not the leaset day of Bappa's sculpture immersion is 11th day of installation of Lord Ganesha. All the Mandals and personals do immersion by this day.

Rules and Guidelines for Maharashtra:
Considering the fact that their might be huge crowd and keep everyone safe in this pandemic situation Government has provided some rules and restriction. those are as below:
- Maharashtra governmrnt made it mendatory for all Ganesh mandals to take permission on prior basis from Municipality or Local authority for celebration.
- Government anounced that maximum size of Lord Ganesha Idol is 4 feet for Mandals and 2 feet if installing in home.
- Mandals to postpone immersion on Lord Ganesha Idol .
- Procession to mark arrival and immersion of lord Ganesha idol is not allowed.
- There should not be much crowd during Lord Ganesha daily Aarati, Arrival and Immersion.
- There should not be much Noice pollution.
- Maintain Social distancing.
